Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your BabyShift account directly in the app. This page explains the steps and what happens to shared family records.

Delete inside BabyShift

  1. Sign in to the BabyShift account you want to delete.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Scroll to Account and choose Delete account.
  4. Review what will be removed and what may remain shared.
  5. Enter your password and confirm Delete permanently.

This cannot be undone. Recent authentication and an internet connection are required. If verification fails, no account data is deleted.

What is deleted or anonymized

  • Your Firebase Authentication login.
  • Your private BabyShift user profile and active family membership.
  • Push-notification device records associated with your account.
  • Premium entitlement records and purchase claims stored by BabyShift, subject to records that must be retained for security or legal obligations.
  • Your name on retained shared care history is replaced with a former-parent label.

What may remain

Baby names, family settings, and shared baby-care history may remain available to another linked caregiver. These are collaborative family records that the remaining caregiver may still rely on. Your active membership is removed and retained activity is anonymized.

Limited records may also be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or store-purchase integrity.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your BabyShift account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription through the store account used to purchase it.

Cannot access the app?

Email nscodeworks2115@gmail.com from the address associated with your BabyShift account. Use the subject “BabyShift account deletion request.” We may need to verify account ownership before processing the request.
